In search of solace after the death of family's legendary figure, my cousin Prof. Golam Azam on  October 23, 2014, I began to review some of his books and booklets from my personal library.  
 Few lines in one booklet captioned 'Introduction to Maulana Abdus Subhan Clan' prompted me to do  something about preserving one of his many contributions to the family. He states in the booklet:"I  hope, going through this booklet, descendants of my grandfather, who are scattered all over the world,  will come to know one another. But, I'm afraid that next generations will not be included in the list unless  someone cares to take the job of enhancing it."

Having some background in the Information Technology arena, I felt obligated to put together a  private website of our family tree on the internet. Hence, this page of our family tree was created on  TribalPages site. Now, any member of the family can view and update the list from anywhere in the world  anytime. Wish the project had started  years ago...

Hope next generations will nurture the tree to grow by adding to Boro Dada's (cousins' respectful  salutation) December, 2006 work.
